I love the fresh start and clean slate that comes with the New Year. If you are like me here are some things that might be helpful as you are doing some reflecting, dreaming, and planning.
Jeanne Stevens wrote a guide to use if you are dreaming big and wanting to take some ground in 2020. She's an amazing leader and I am excited to put this to use. Also, it's free- just sign up at her site.

Last year Derek and I went to the Best Year Ever conference and it was super impressive. I love the resources the team has developed, it was helpful in putting things into action for us this year.
5 Minute Journal
I was recently given this as a gift and can I just say that I LOVE IT and I think it's changing my life. I'm not lying, the affirmation and quick look at the day in both the morning and night has been great for me to s-l-o-w down and be intentional (and grateful).
There are a million ways to move forward into the new year and depending on how 2019 was this may be exciting, daunting or something in between. I sometimes still get hung up or overwhelmed as I try to look back and look ahead. This year I am trying to grow and stretch, but also be gentle and compassionate towards myself. Ambitious, but not a miser.
Here are a few questions that I have been asking and reflecting on, maybe they will be helpful for you:
+ What am I most proud of in 2019?
+ Where did I see God move?
+ What are a few things I can change going into 2020?
I hope you have a wonderful NYE and enjoy the planning/dreaming of the New Year and all that it will bring!
